Ken Otto D.C.
Dr. Ken has been helping people live to their fullest since he opened the doors to “Discover Chiropractic” on Meade Street on April 11, 1994. Later on changed the name to Otto Chiropractic, S.C. and moved to our current location at 308 East Northland Ave in 2004.
Although there have been changes over the years one thing has remained constant. Our dedication to improving the health and well-being of our patient base through applying the principles of chiropractic and the natural healing model. As a chiropractor with experience, he is committed to promoting health and living a life drug-free. Dr. Ken has been a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic since 1994. He is currently accepting new patients.
I grew up in Appleton doing all the typical kids' stuff; swimming at Meade pool, playing baseball at the Little League and Babe Ruth parks in the area. I recall Pop Warner football games at the old Goodland field, and the “Y” was a great hang out for shooting hoops. Sports were a big part of growing up and eventually was the reason I initially sought chiropractic care. While in high school at Appleton East, I injured my neck during football season. I was honestly a bit skeptical, yet it proved to be beneficial. That experience lead to my choosing chiropractic as a career.
The past 25 years in practice have been a great growing opportunity both personally and professionally as well as a great source of fulfillment in helping those interested and motivated to live a simple, healthy lifestyle by maximizing the expression of their innate potential within.
Sports continue to be a fairly big part of my lifestyle. I have finished 2 Ironman length triathlons and have run in a variety of different events over the years but my biggest passion is cycling. Whether riding on the road or through some single-track trails, you’ll normally see a big smile on my face. Other interests include almost anything outside. Cross country skiing, hiking, sitting around a campfire telling jokes, or out hiking with my Golden Retriever, Tezuka. I also enjoy spending time with my boys: Mitch, Levi, and Nick, regardless of what we are doing, normally laughter is following close behind. I have had the pleasure of watching/coaching my kids in their sports over the years and will continue to enjoy watching Nick’s basketball career at UW-Oshkosh!

Chiropractor
Levi J. Otto
I was born and raised in Appleton, Wi. Growing up I did just about every sport imaginable searching for the one that stood out to me. While enjoying basketball and football, I never found myself super passionate with either of them. It wasn't until I discovered triathlons that is where I want to focus my time. I initially loved training for all 3 parts, the swim, bike and run.
While training for the bike portion, I discovered how much I enjoyed cycling. At the age of 13 I started competing in cycling events and fell in love with it. I competitively raced bikes for 8 years in Wisconsin, Iowa and Colorado. During this time winning numerous, local and state championship events which I attribute to being well adjusted and functioning at my optimal level.
My experience that led me to become a chiropractor is not the traditional "I hurt myself in athletics or a traumatic fall." I have been getting adjusted since the day I was born and currently to this day. Having 50+ chiropractors in my family, I was in and out of the office and around chiropractic my whole life. I can remember being in the office after school doing my homework and helping clean tables, vacuum or occasionally greet patients at the front desk. I saw the response that patients would walk in and say hello but on their way out they would be happier, smiling and in a much better mood. Later on I realized that chiropractic was so much more than just pain management. It is about maximizing quality of life and performance in all areas of life without having to cut, remove or add anything to the body.
My time at Palmer College of Chiropractic I took additional classes focusing on upper cervical and low force adjusting techniques to help maximize the potential for the body to heal.
Outside of the office I enjoy being outdoors, staying active with different leagues or events. I enjoy archery, fishing and camping in the summers. In the fall I find myself in the woods hunting, mountain biking or camping. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing games and learning new things.
Practice Coordinator
Amy
Amy is a Wisconsin native and currently lives in Neenah with her husband, their four children and one and only dog - Enzo! When not at the office, Amy enjoys making family dinners, baking, spending time with friends and family, golfing, watching sports and traveling.
For nearly 17 years, Amy was a practice manager for an Appleton chiropractic office and joined Dr. Otto in January of 2021.
Amy is a professional photographer and artist who continues to "dabble" in the arts and is fairly handy around the house. When there's a project at the house, Amy usually states, "let's take it on" - while on the contrast her husband states, "who can we call?"
Front Desk CA
Mitch
Mitch was born and raised in the Appleton area and currently lives in the Fox Crossing area. He enjoys hanging out with friends, wood working, traveling and spending time in the outdoors.
Mitch moved to Colorado for a short period of time where he worked as a ranch hand and construction in Durango. Hiking, mountain biking and trout fishing were his favorite activities during his time there. Currently Mitch loves to spend his time outside and some of his favorite hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping and photography. He loves spending time with friends while grilling any time of the year because it's an excuse to spend time together and eat great food!
